Inspirational Gifts Company

The Inspirational Gifts Company was in Dunnes Stores for Christmas 2019. The gift ranged included novelty products aimed at both men and woman. Within the range there were 6 different design concepts to span across the entire range. Below, I have focused on the Essentials range. 

To create these, first the packaging shape had to be considered. As the packaging was being created specifically for these products, keylines and prototypes were created and tweaked, back and forth with the factory. Once the keyline was set, each side of the piece had to be considered. A craft paper idea was important to the client. This was used in two ways in this project. For the flat artwork (the insert for the mugs) the artwork was printed on textured card. This card wouldn't work for the box/book so for those, the craft paper image became the background and unity was created through the artwork printed over the craft paper texture. The images themselves were created with a mixture of illustration by myself and amending vectors from stock imagery. I have highlighted sections of the boxes below where I was more heavily involved in drawing and labelled my part on the image descriptions.
