Fyffes, a fruit and fresh produce company, ran a competition where they asked the public to enter a recipe using bananas. I took this personal project a little further than just baking. I love to bake and I love being creative, and so I decided to use this inspiration and make a stop motion for my entry.
This stop motion was fun and challenging to create. As I did it at home in the kitchen, I had the issue of only using materiel I had handy and not having a photography studio. This meant that my tripod was a telescope stand and I had the lighting change throughout the day as the sun moved. My photos were still a good quality and I was able to edit them into the final animation for the baking competition! Even though I did not place for my recipe, I still find this is a great recipe to whip out when you’re catering to vegans and a gluten intolerance.
